Higher Ground has been around since 2002.  Owner and Manager Charlie Howard founded the group with a mission to sing for God having a main goal to see lost souls saved, and to spread the word of Jesus to as many people as possible, through ministry of song.  Knowing that without Jesus nothing would be possible, they travel and operate as a ministry with only a love offering basis and through the purchases made from their product table merchandise.

The group consist of singers Charlie Howard (lead/baritone), Doricia Wright (alto) and Danny Wilson (tenor).  Also traveling on the road with the group at times is Charlie's wife Sandy Howard, who plays a vital role in the "behind the scenes" of the ministry.

Higher Ground is a National Recording Artist group that has been blessed to release 6 CD's thus far and also being nominated for and recipients of various awards including group's Doricia Wright for Female Vocalist of the Year in 2014 and the group for Trio of the Year and Group of the Year in 2016.

With more than 50 years of ministry experience put together, overcoming various obstacles as individuals and as a whole, they are more passionate than ever before to continue stepping on the RV each weekend while riding many miles down the road to bring the Gospel to you and your church.
